Andrew (Bawden) Yergiyev studied to teach the Alexander Technique at the Urbana Center for Alexander Technique under Joan and Alex Murray in Urbana, Illinois from 1998 to 2001, and has been actively teaching Alexander Technique lessons across the country since achieving certification in June 2001.  

 

Yergiyev has given master classes and informational presentations about the Alexander Technique at Shenandoah University, Black Hills State Institute of the Arts (with soprano Johanna Meier), Nazareth College, Virginia Commonwealth University, James Madison University and the Eastman School of Music.
